What is Juvederm™?

What is the Process for Juvederm™?

Juvederm™ treatments take about 30 minutes. Patients may experience mild discomfort, which is minimized by local or topical anesthetic. Often, Juvederm™ is formulated with the local anesthetic lidocaine to provide a comfortable and pain-free injection.

When you undergo a Juvederm™ procedure, your Juvederm™ specialist will use a thin needle to inject the gel into selected tissues. Initially, Juvederm™ works as filler by increasing the volume of tissue under the skin.
